“ Wow, what a gem! After a long day of hiking and eating snacks and packed lunch, it was wonderful to have a freshly cooked meal for dinner. Here are some tips: - Make a reservation! I made it for Thanksgiving week and I'm so glad I did. Luckily there was space for a large party of 8 and they accommodated perfectly for us. - Dark, dirt parking lot. Drive slow and carefully. There's some light but also lots of families who admire the fountain in the parking lot. - Kids menu is perfectly basic for picky eaters. - The food was piping hot and delicious! Our table tried a bunch of stuff and nearly everything was exactly what we expected. I tried the chocolate cake and it was just ok, but it could be we were all just stuffed from the plentiful portion sizes. Clean bathrooms, family friendly, delicious food. That's a winning trifecta. ”

“ Make sure to save room for the pumpkin cheese cake, it is seriously good! The pastry chef is amazing! The porch chop was tender & tasty, with peach topping. The fetuccine Alfredi with chicken was fabulous (NOT over cooked, and the chicken was tender, and not dry). The atmosphere is first rate. The only drawback was a chair I sunk into and was too worn, but with one request they changed it right out. Our server Rachel was excellent (remminded me of a perfect high end server... elegent & efficent). A wonderful date restaurant. There was no overwhelming music, so we could talk. Thank you for a lovely dinner on the way to Zion! ”

“ Balcony One is a cute gem of a restaurant. I came here with the family (party of 9) and had the best service. The host was super friendly, and our server was attentive all night. I started with the charcuterie board, which was great, though the portion of fig spread was too small. The only real downside was my cocktail, which wasn't the best. But what stood out was their chicken Alfredo--the sauce was absolutely incredible! I'd definitely come back next time I'm in town to catch the live music :) ”

“ I made reservations for this restaurant on Saturday evening. It was for a birthday celebration and this restaurant did not disappoint. I have been wanting to check out this restaurant for quite a while and was glad I finally had the chance to go. The restaurant is really nice inside with all of the wood and has a beautiful bar area in the back. You can sit outside as there are plenty of tables and they sometimes offer music on the weekends. I ordered the pork chop with brussels sprouts and baked potato. I really liked the brussels sprouts and I thought the pork chop was cooked nicely. Prices have significantly increased. I was looking at previous reviews and as of August 2024 the pork chop was $33 where just a few months ago, it was $24. I do think the price is a bit steep but the food, but it is such a fun unique place to eat at. I do see myself coming back here to eat again. Definitely make reservations, and hours are from 3 to 9 pm. ”

“ Love to visit Balcony One when visiting southern Utah. The food is amazing and can't beat the beautiful patio surrounded by the beautiful plateaus and red rock of Virgin. I always order the Fettuccine Alfredo - it is tasty and not too heavy. The Oven Roasted Chicken is cooked and seasoned well. The drinks are excellent. This time we tried the Lemond Curd Cheesecake and it was spot on! Everything was perfect. Great service, great food, great vibe! ”

“ What an unexpected gem. While driving to Zion National Park, my wife suggested that we skip lunch and stay hungry for Balcony One As usual. She was right. This place is elevated dining on the high desert. The building is beautiful, the food is wonderful, and the service is loving. Make extra time to enjoy a drink in the bar before you eat, the view is truly special. For the win: Start with the Bone-In Bacon, then enjoy the New York Strip (medium rare was PERFECT), or the Pork Chop, and finish with the tiramisu. Wash it all down with a local Unita brew. ”
